Terms of Use

Last updated October 8, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of caliche.tech, including its contact form. The website is operated by Caliche Tech LLC ("Caliche Tech," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.

Scope and eligibility

These Terms apply only to this public website and communications initiated through it. You may use the site only if you can form a binding contract under applicable law. If you use it on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to act for that organization.

The website is intended for adults and business inquiries. It is not directed to children under 13.

Separate client agreements

Website content and communications are general information and do not create a client, fiduciary, partnership, employment, or agency relationship. A contact-form submission is an inquiry, not acceptance of a project and not a confidential consultation.

Any paid consulting or development work requires a separate written agreement signed by the parties. That agreement—not these website Terms—will control project scope, deliverables, schedule, fees, payment, changes, acceptance, warranties, intellectual-property ownership, confidentiality, security, data processing, support, termination, and project-specific liability. If a signed client agreement conflicts with these Terms concerning the engagement, the signed agreement controls.

Acceptable use

You may browse the site and use the contact form for lawful business inquiries. You may not:

  • violate law or the rights of another person;
  • submit false, deceptive, threatening, defamatory, infringing, or unlawful material;
  • send spam, malware, harmful code, or excessive automated requests;
  • probe, scan, test, bypass, or compromise the site's security or access controls;
  • interfere with the site, its providers, or another person's use;
  • scrape or copy the site in a way that imposes unreasonable load or violates applicable law; or
  • misrepresent affiliation with Caliche Tech or use the site to impersonate another person.

We may restrict or block access when reasonably necessary to protect the website, our providers, our rights, or other users.

Your submissions

You retain ownership of information you submit. You give us permission to receive, store, review, reproduce, and use it as reasonably necessary to respond, evaluate potential work, operate and secure the site, and comply with law.

You represent that you have the right to submit the information and that doing so does not violate another person's rights or obligations. Do not submit credentials, source code, production data, trade secrets, regulated data, or other sensitive or confidential information through the website form. We do not agree to confidentiality merely because information is submitted through the site.

AI and automation

References to artificial intelligence, machine learning, or automation describe categories of services we may offer. They are not a promise that a particular tool, model, output, integration, or result is appropriate for your situation.

AI systems can produce incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, biased, infringing, insecure, or unexpected output. Automated systems can fail or behave differently as models, data, providers, and laws change. Website descriptions do not represent that an AI system or output has been independently verified, is error-free, meets a particular legal standard, or is fit for a high-impact or regulated use.

Any project involving AI will require project-specific review and a separate agreement. That process may address permitted data, model and provider selection, confidentiality, human oversight, testing, output verification, intellectual-property risk, security, recordkeeping, and responsibility for legal or industry requirements. No visitor should rely on this website as legal, compliance, cybersecurity, financial, medical, employment, or other professional advice.

Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the Caliche Tech name, marks, logo, website design, text, graphics, and original website content are owned by Caliche Tech LLC or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

We grant you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to access the website for its intended purpose. No other license is granted. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, publicly display, create derivative works from, or use our site content or marks for commercial purposes without prior written permission. Ownership of client deliverables is determined only by the applicable signed client agreement.

Third-party services and links

The website depends on third-party hosting, database, network, and software services. It may also link to sites or resources we do not own or control. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, privacy practices, terms, or changes. A link or technical integration does not imply endorsement.

Website disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim warranties of accuracy, completeness, availability, security, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, free of harmful components, or suitable for a particular decision or project.

Nothing on this website is a binding offer, estimate, guarantee of savings, guarantee of results, or professional advice. You are responsible for evaluating information before relying on it.

Limitation of liability and indemnity

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Caliche Tech LLC and its owners, personnel, contractors, and providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages; lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity; or losses resulting from your access to, inability to access, or reliance on this website.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or relating to this free public website will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100). These limitations do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. Different liability terms may apply under a signed client agreement.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Caliche Tech LLC and its owners, personnel, contractors, and providers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful misuse of the website, your violation of these Terms, or content you submit in violation of another person's rights. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from our own unlawful conduct.

Governing law and courts

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Caliche Tech LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising solely from these Terms or use of this website must be brought in a state or federal court located in that state, and each party consents to personal jurisdiction and venue there. A signed client agreement may establish different dispute terms for a consulting engagement.

General terms

If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign rights under these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them in connection with a business reorganization or transfer. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement concerning use of this website.

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms as the website, our practices, or legal requirements change. Revised Terms take effect when posted, and the date above shows the latest revision. Your continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

For questions about these Terms, contact Caliche Tech LLC through the form on the home page.
